The Decatur Alumni chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has served the greater South DeKalb County Georgia, east of Atlanta, for more than 35 years. It is our goal to bring every Brother home to Kappa and to serve our local community through various programs and activities.

Some of our annual activities, community involvement and initiatives include:

• Mentor young men through our Kappa League (high school students) & Jr. Kappa League (grades 3 through 8) Programs

•  "Operation Back To School", where we provide 400 book bags and school supplies to deserving students 

• For over 35 consecutive years, sponsor Halloween Fun Night at the N.H. Scott Recreation Center in Decatur, GA

• Deliver 480 meals each at both Thanksgiving and Christmas to  families throughout DeKalb County

• Fundraising to support St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital

•   Partnering with KAPsi Foundation of Decatur, Inc. for its annual Golf Tournament to raise funds to provide scholarships for DeKalb County Students

• Kappa Kotton Club

The Decatur Alumni Chapter, through the KAPsi Foundation, provides philanthropic support and scholarships to graduating seniors in all South DeKalb County High Schools.  Additionally, we are proud partners with the DeKalb County Government and operate the Community Achievement Center which provides programs and services to the residents of south DeKalb County.

DAC is striving to be a beacon of hope and support as we partner with the community to provide activities and programs to service DeKalb County and the metro Atlanta area.
